In 2014 , I gave birth to a 3 lb preemie via emergency c section due to having severe preeclampsia . After the traumatizing hospital experience I changed my diet to Alkaline Vegan and heavily studied the teachings of Dr. Sebi.
Years later I delivered two healthy babies in the comfort of my home without any medical assistance. The doctors told me that she would never deliver vaginally. Due to my previous health issues , I was advised by medical professionals to “terminate future pregnancies”. Dismissing their claims , I went on to prove the power of using food as medicine.

Let’s talk about it! Skin care that is! This is an embarrassing photo of my skin after I used a company’s product that claimed to remove hyperpigmentation.
Let’s just say it sent me right back to nature (God) I prayed for the perfect “Formula” “Magic Potion” Give it to me now! My face was extremely inflamed , irritated, I didn’t even go outside! A few days later , I went straight into my kitchen mixing herbs, blending oils, and butters.
I promised myself I would never put harsh chemicals on my face again! I should have known better because I had a similar experience in middle school. Me and acne go way back, I thought this time my skin could handle it (chemicals) Nope, because I disregarded that “nature is her cure whenever she’s unsure” I was forced to turn within to remember the poem that I wrote

She is nourished with universal truth To hatred she will not stoop She understands the power of her womb She gracefully dispels negativity She replenishes her energy She walks in the footsteps of the wise Her intentions are never disguised In her sacred dwelling She comes alive
Her mind is kept pure
Her heart is not allured
Nature is her cure
Whenever she’s unsure
Bathed in the knowledge of self
She is bestowed spiritual wealth
Gifted with Clairvoyance
Aligned with oneness
I am a virtuous woman .
I wrote this poem when I was 22, I made a promise to myself that I would never let anyone define who I am. I will define who I am. Thus, this poem serves as a reminder of who I am .
